Some days I feel uninspired to write. My thoughts thrown out the window, out there with the trees and the birds and the flowers. Did you spend a lot of time outside when you were younger? I'm grateful for all the time we spent outside. My parents were always taking us to the parks, sometimes to play, sometimes for picnics, sometimes for concerts. I have fond memories sitting in the grass with my sister, music in the background making friendship bracelets with her. We would get lost in the mazes and paths of flowers and trees and creeks. Some of the same paths my son now runs through. I love bringing my kids to the park, but I especially love bringing them to the parks I spent many afternoons as a child.
There's something about watching my kids in the park, so free not bound by walls and ceilings, no toys or tv, just flowers and ducks and imagination.
Like I said, sometimes I feel uninspired to write, all my thoughts are out the window...outside, playing in the park.
Today's Reflection:
“But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you;
And the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you;
And the fish of the sea will explain to you.
Who among all these does not know
That the hand of the Lord has done this"
And the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you;
And the fish of the sea will explain to you.
Who among all these does not know
That the hand of the Lord has done this"
-Job 12:7-9

ReplyDeleteUmmmmm.....if I had a field of daisys and a pond with ducks and sunny skies, I'd want to be outside too! I love love love your girl's top, btw.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog. :)!
ReplyDeleteI think I've felt that way lately. Sometimes I feel like the deeper I feel and the more I'm processing the less I write. Your family is gorgeous, as are the photos. Such a sweet place to take your family! I live in the town that I grew up in and I, too, love taking my kids to the parks that I played at as a child!
ReplyDeleteI want to lay back in that delightful grass and look at the sky. What a lovely post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beatiful family you have! I loved going to the park too when I was young! I also love the verse at the end of your post! Blessings!
