The sun comes out and the world gets a little brighter. The weather turns warmer and you quickly forget the cold of yesterday. And we tend to turn our face towards the sun and let the rays in. It's no wonder the flowers bloom. One by one we step out into the gold filled day. We become childlike. We run a little faster. We laugh a little more and we forget what being plugged in feels like. And the beams of light are infectious, suddenly we are not alone, suddenly we are joined by others who crave the light, those who are ready to step out of the dark and enjoy the magic of the day.
The weekend came with beautiful weather. We tried to soak in as much of it as we could. Steve decided it was perfect weather to work on the trailer, suddenly one by one we followed outside. The boys played in the unfinished trailer. The next thing we knew we were teaching them how to play kickball...isn't that how it happens?
Today's Reflection:
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am
the light of the world. He who follows Me
shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of
life.”
-John 8:12
Longing for more light!
